If what they say about men with big hands is true, this guy would surely win a place on our World's Largest Penises list. For now, though, China's Liu Hua has his, um, hands full with one bodily distinction already: the world's largest hand.
Or he did. According to Shanghaiist.com, Liu just underwent surgery to reduce the size of his oversized fingers and thumb, which measured 26 centimeters (thumb), 30 centimeters (index finger), and 15 centimeters (middle finger) respectively, reports The Shanghai Daily.
"It was the biggest hand in the world," said Chen Zuliang, a hospital official, told The Shanghai Daily. "Liu's fingers stopped growing in recent years so plastic surgery was at last possible to correct the malformation."
Shanghaiist.com says that Liu will require more surgery on his oversized left arm and shoulder, and will have to get rehabilitation to properly use the three fingers that remain on his left hand.
"It is hoped that with some training and rehabilitation, life will soon be back to normal for him, and he will no longer have to find ways and means to hide his hand whenever he goes out," they say.
